HM King congratulated by Amir of Kuwait on Gulf Cup victory

His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa has received a congratulatory cable from His Highness Sheikh Mishal Al Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah, Amir of the State of Kuwait, following Bahrain’s victory in the 26th Arabian Gulf Cup, held in Kuwait from December 21, 2024, to January 4, 2025.
In his message, the Amir commended the exceptional performance of Bahrain’s national football team, highlighting their skill and sportsmanship. He also praised the camaraderie and competitive spirit displayed by all participating teams, as well as the vibrant spectator turnout that showcased the unity among Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) nations.
In response, His Majesty King Hamad expressed heartfelt gratitude for the Amir’s kind words. He lauded the sportsmanship of both the Bahraini and Omani teams, who competed in the final, and congratulated Kuwait on the successful organisation of the tournament. His Majesty extended his best wishes to all GCC nations for continued success in future competitions and wished the State of Kuwait further progress and prosperity under its wise leadership.
