As the parade moved along the designated route, from Airport Road to Shaikh Isa bin Salman Bridge and onward to Crown Prince Street, the air was electric with cheers and chants.
Young and old alike, draped in the red and white of the Bahraini flag, waved banners and sang songs of victory. Families gathered along the streets, with children perched on their parents’ shoulders, clapping and cheering as the team passed by.
The General Traffic Directorate ensured the safety of the celebratory crowds, reminding road users to adhere to traffic rules.
The carefully planned route culminated at Bahrain National Stadium, where even more festivities awaited to honor the team’s achievement.
The victory is etched in the memories of fans, as Bahrain defeated Oman 2-1 in a thrilling final match in Kuwait.
Oman struck first in the 17th minute with a goal by Abdulrahman Al-Mushafri, but Bahrain’s spirited comeback in the second half turned the tide.

Mohammed Marhoon equalized with a penalty in the 79th minute and clinched the victory moments later when his shot, deflected by an Omani defender, found the net.
