HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa Meets Newly Elected Arab Parliament President

His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, met today with the newly elected President of the Arab Parliament, His Excellency Mohammed Ahmad Al Yamahi, and his accompanying delegation at Gudaibiya Palace.
During the meeting, HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad reaffirmed Bahrain’s commitment to supporting initiatives aimed at enhancing joint Arab efforts across various sectors. He highlighted the importance of fostering cooperation among Arab nations and strengthening ties with countries worldwide to achieve shared aspirations and mutual benefits, in line with the directives of Arab leaders.
HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad congratulated HE Al Yamahi on his election as President of the Arab Parliament and wished him success in his new role. He emphasized the Arab Parliament’s significant role in promoting Arab collaboration and joint action, as well as its commitment to defending Arab interests in international parliamentary forums.
HE Mohammed Ahmad Al Yamahi expressed gratitude for Bahrain’s steadfast support of Arab causes and HRH Prince Salman’s dedication to advancing Arab cooperation. He also extended his best wishes for Bahrain’s continued progress and prosperity.
The meeting was attended by senior Bahraini officials, including the Speaker of the Council of Representatives, His Excellency Ahmed bin Salman Al-Musallam; the Deputy Prime Minister, His Excellency Shaikh Khalid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa; the Minister of Interior, His Excellency General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa; the Minister of Finance and National Economy, His Excellency Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa; and other dignitaries.
This engagement reflects Bahrain’s ongoing efforts to strengthen Arab solidarity and its commitment to addressing regional challenges through cooperative and unified approaches.
