Pride in victory as Cabinet celebrates Gulf Cup title

The Cabinet expressed its pride in the Kingdom’s remarkable sporting achievement as the Bahrain national football team won the 26th Arabian Gulf Cup title.

The Cabinet expressed its pride in the Kingdom’s remarkable sporting achievement following the Bahrain national football team’s title-clinching achievement in the 26th Arabian Gulf Cup. Chaired by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, the Cabinet extended its congratulations to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the people of Bahrain on this milestone, which adds to the Kingdom’s record of accomplishments in sports.

This marks the second time that Bahrain has won the title in the prestigious event.

The Cabinet commended the efforts of the players and administrative staff of the national team, which led to victory and bolstered the Kingdom’s position in sports in the Gulf.

It expressed its gratitude to Bahrain’s citizens and residents for their unwavering support of the national team, as well as the warm gestures and congratulations extended by GCC countries following Bahrain’s win.

The Cabinet extended its congratulations to HM King Hamad, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, on the occasion of the 28th anniversary of the National Guard’s establishment. It highlighted the National Guard’s vital role in carrying out their national duties and their combat readiness.

The Cabinet highlighted the success of the “Celebrate Bahrain” season and its positive outcomes on the Kingdom’s economy, expressing its gratitude to all government entities and private sector sponsors for their excellent organisational efforts.
