ILA and THMC forge strategic partnership

The Indian Ladies Association (ILA) and the Thattai Hindu Merchants Community (THMC) officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) at the ILA premises on January 7, marking the beginning of a collaborative journey to foster community service, entrepreneurship, and cultural exchange in Bahrain.
The event brought together prominent representatives from both organizations, including Mrs. Kiran Abhijit Mangle, Hon. President, ILA, and key members from THMC.
THMC representatives present during the signing ceremony were Mr. Mukesh T. Kavalan, Hon. President, Kavalani & Sons W.L.L; Mr. B.C. Thaker, Past President, THMC; Mrs. Bharti Gajria, Hon. Board Member, Gajria, and Mr. Yogesh N. Bhatia, Hon. Treasurer, THMC. The ILA delegation included Mrs. Kiran Abhijit Mangle, Hon. President, ILA, along with the Executive Committee 2024, Past President Mrs. Thanuja Anil, and Advisory Committee Member Mrs. Anjali Gupta.
Key areas of collaboration included the following: Community Service Initiatives: Joint programs aimed at enhancing community welfare and supporting charitable activities; Entrepreneurial Development: Special emphasis on empowering women entrepreneurs through workshops, networking opportunities, and trade exhibitions; and Cultural Exchange: Promoting bilateral cultural ties and fostering deeper integration between Indian communities in Bahrain.
In her address, Mrs. Kiran Abhijit Mangle, Hon. President, ILA, emphasized, “This collaboration is a significant step towards strengthening our community ties and creating opportunities for cultural and economic empowerment.”
Mr. Mukesh T. Kavalani, Hon. President, THMC, echoed similar sentiments, stating, “Together, we can build a stronger platform for mutual growth, cooperation, and shared success.” The partnership underscores a shared vision for social responsibility.
