Construction is set to begin on 28 new commercial shops in Salman City, located within blocks 583 and 580, according to Basem Ali Abuidrees, representative of the second constituency of the Northern Governorate Municipal Council. The project, following two years of planning and collaboration with relevant authorities, aims to significantly boost the area's commercial and tourism sectors.

Fifteen of the new shops will be developed by the Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning, while the remaining 13 will be constructed by the Jaffari Endowments, intended for use in conjunction with existing mosques in Salman City.

In addition to the shops, the project includes plans to allocate space for five new tourist restaurants overlooking the sea. This initiative is expected to enhance the area's tourism appeal and overall commercial value.

Further improvements will include the construction of a new car park within block 580, providing much-needed parking for residents and visitors.

Abuidrees expressed his gratitude to the Assistant Undersecretary for Engineering Affairs, Engineer Balsam Salman, for her oversight and monitoring of the project.

He also commended the Chief Executive Officer of the Housing Bank, Abdullah Talib, for his instrumental role in the success of the area's development projects.

The project represents a significant step forward in enhancing the commercial infrastructure and overall quality of life in Salman Town.
