The strike will affect major transportation hubs in Rome, including Linate Airport (LIN) and Malpensa Airport (MXP). Public transportation within cities will also be impacted, with buses, trains, and intercity taxis expected to experience disruptions. The duration of the strike will vary depending on the region and mode of transportation, ranging from 4 to 24 hours.
The embassy urged citizens to consult the official websites of the affected transportation providers for the latest updates and to plan their journeys with flexibility. Travelers should be prepared for potential delays and cancellations.
