BIS Celebrates Annual Day

Bhavans Bahrain Indian School (BIS) celebrated its Annual Day on Thursday at the Cultural Hall, marking a significant occasion for the school community and its senior students. The event was graced by Ms. Huwaida Saleh Aldoseri, Person in charge of the duties of the head of the administrative and educational stafwf support group, Directorate of Licensing and Follow-up of Private Schools at the Ministry of Education, who served as the chief guest. Directors Mr. Himanshu Verma & Mrs. Ritu Verma also graced the occasion.
The event commenced with a welcome from the Principal Mr. Saji Jacob. The audience was then treated to a welcome song performed by the students.
This special occasion also witnessed BIS’s commitment to social responsibility. School Director Mr. Himanshu Verma handed over a donation cheque amounting BD 1000 to Mr. Yusuf Al Yaqoob, Assistant Secretary General, from Royal Humanitarian Foundation.
The event featured a range of performances, including classical songs, vibrant dance routines, and a skit based on the story of Pocahontas.

A highlight of the evening was the release of the school’s annual magazine by Chief Guest and BIS Management. The magazine features articles, photographs, and achievements from the past year.
Following the magazine release, the Annual Report was presented, detailing the school’s accomplishments and future goals. Director Mr. Himanshu Verma emphasized the importance of perseverance, teamwork, and the pursuit of knowledge in shaping future leaders.
In his address, Director Mr. Verma stated, “Education is not just about imparting knowledge; it is about nurturing character and instilling values that will guide our students throughout their lives.” He encouraged students to embrace challenges as opportunities for growth.
