Rashid Equestrian and Horseracing Club Partners with The Avenues-Bahrain for King’s Cup Festival

The Rashid Equestrian and Horseracing Club (REHC) has signed a sponsorship agreement with The Avenues-Bahrain to support one of the rounds of His Majesty the King’s Cup Festival for the 2024/2025 horseracing season.

The agreement, aimed at enhancing partnerships and bolstering the development of horseracing in Bahrain, was signed in the presence of Yusuf Osama Buheji, CEO of REHC, and Firas Barakat, Mall Director of The Avenues-Bahrain.

Yusuf Osama Buheji commended the partnership, noting that The Avenues-Bahrain has extended its gold sponsorship for the second consecutive season. He highlighted the sponsorship’s vital role in ensuring the success of this prominent national event and reaffirmed the Club’s commitment to elevating Bahrain’s horseracing profile both locally and internationally.

“This partnership reflects The Avenues-Bahrain’s unwavering support for horseracing and contributes significantly to the success of His Majesty the King’s Cup Festival, a cornerstone event in Bahrain’s sporting calendar,” Buheji stated.

Firas Barakat expressed The Avenues-Bahrain’s pride in sponsoring the festival, emphasizing the mall’s dedication to national responsibility by supporting key sectors and events in the Kingdom, including equestrian sports.

“We are honoured to partner with the REHC for this esteemed festival. This collaboration aligns with our commitment to fostering the development of horseracing in Bahrain while showcasing the Kingdom’s achievements on the global stage,” Barakat said.

He also lauded the efforts of the REHC’s High Committee, which have propelled Bahrain to notable accomplishments in the international horseracing arena. Barakat affirmed The Avenues-Bahrain’s dedication to supporting the festival’s success and enhancing its international reputation, underscoring the remarkable progress of horseracing in the Kingdom.
