Bahrain Celebrates Graduation of Second Cohort from Diplomatic Foundation Program

On behalf of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Bahrain, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khalifa, Special Representative of His Majesty the King, attended the graduation ceremony for the second cohort of the Diplomatic Foundation Program. Organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the event was held at the Bahrain National Theatre and brought together ministers, senior officials, Bahrain’s diplomatic mission leaders, accredited ambassadors, families, and distinguished guests.
Sheikh Mohammed expressed pride in the Mohamed Bin Mubarak Al Khalifa Academy for Diplomatic Studies, founded by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, emphasizing its role in preparing skilled diplomats. He extended gratitude to Crown Prince Salman for the honor of representing him at the event and highlighted the academy’s pivotal role in advancing Bahrain’s foreign policy and global standing.
Praising the leadership of the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, and the academy’s Director-General, Dr. Sheikha Munira bint Khalifa Al Khalifa, Sheikh Mohammed acknowledged their efforts to ensure the training aligns with modern diplomatic challenges. He reiterated the importance of equipping diplomats to safeguard Bahrain’s interests and strengthen its international relations.
The event began with Bahrain’s national anthem, performed by the police band, and a recitation from the Holy Quran. A short film showcased the academy’s efforts in training diplomats, followed by inspiring speeches from graduates Mohammed Abdul Karim Al Hayki and Mariam Sami Al Jamei.
Sheikh Mohammed honored the top graduates, congratulating them on their achievements, and presented certificates to 84 graduates. In his closing remarks, he emphasized the graduates’ responsibility in upholding Bahrain’s diplomatic excellence and fostering international cooperation.
The ceremony concluded with the presentation of a commemorative gift from the Minister of Foreign Affairs to Sheikh Mohammed, followed by group photographs to mark this significant milestone.
