Bahrain's Cabinet Approves Formation of Joint Urban Planning Taskforce with Saudi Arabia

During its session on Monday, chaired by Deputy Prime Minister Sheikh Khalid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Bahrain's Cabinet approved a memorandum from the Ministerial Committee for Legal and Legislative Affairs. The memorandum pertains to a memorandum of understanding (MoU) for the establishment of a joint Bahraini-Saudi urban planning taskforce.
The initiative aligns with the outcomes of the Coordination Committee on investment, environmental, and infrastructure affairs between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. This committee operates under the umbrella of the Saudi-Bahraini Coordination Council, further strengthening the strategic partnership between the two nations.
The joint taskforce is expected to enhance collaboration and drive integrated development in urban planning, reflecting the shared vision of the two countries.
