Bahrain to Host FIBA 3x3 World Tour Final 2025 in Manama

In an exciting announcement for basketball enthusiasts, the International Basketball Federation (FIBA) has revealed that Bahrain will host the 14th edition of the 3x3 World Tour Final on November 21-22, 2025. This decision underscores the Kingdom’s growing stature as a global hub for major sporting events.
The 2025 FIBA 3x3 World Tour will encompass 15 cities across three continents, captivating millions of fans and further popularizing this fast-paced variation of basketball. The tour will kick off in Utsunomiya, Japan, in April, culminating in the grand finale in Manama.
Ala’a Mudara, President of the Bahrain Basketball Association, expressed his pride in FIBA’s choice, emphasizing Bahrain’s excellence in hosting international tournaments. “The inclusion of Manama alongside major global cities is a testament to the Kingdom’s reputation for organizing world-class events,” Mudara said.
Mudara also commended the unwavering support of His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports (SCYS), Chairman of the General Sports Authority (GSA), and President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC). “His Highness’ leadership and vision have been pivotal to Bahrain’s success on the global sports stage, and his contributions have been instrumental in securing such prestigious opportunities for the Kingdom,” Mudara added.
