Bahrain reaffirms deep-rooted Oman relations

Highness Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Isa bin Salman Education Charitable Trust and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Labour Fund (Tamkeen), reaffirmed the deep-rooted relations and historical bonds between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Sultanate of Oman.

He emphasised that these ties are further strengthened by the support of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tariq Al-Said, contributing to the realisation of the aspirations of both countries and their peoples.

HH Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad was speaking as he visited yesterday the Sultanate of Oman pavilion at the World Economic Forum (WEF) 55th Annual Meeting in Davos, Switzerland. During the visit, His Highness met with the Minister of Finance of Oman, His Excellency Sultan bin Salem Al Habsi, and members of Oman’s delegation.

The meeting was held on the sidelines of HH Shaikh Isa bin Salman’s leadership of a high-level Bahraini delegation at the WEF.

HH Shaikh Isa bin Salman noted that Oman’s pavilion, visited by several prominent participants of the WEF, serves as a valuable platform for exchanging expertise and sharing best international practices across various economic sectors.

The meeting also explored ways to further enhance the Bahrain-Oman relationship in alignment with mutual aspirations.

His Highness extended his heartfelt wishes for continued progress and prosperity for Oman.

The meeting was also attended by the Minister of Finance and National Economy, HE Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, along with several senior officials.
