Brilliant fireworks display to feature at BIC National Day Festival

A spectacular fireworks display will light up the night sky as part of this year’s Bahrain International Circuit (BIC) National Day Festival, taking place Monday to Thursday  at BIC in Sakhir.

The fireworks will be the highlight of all the colourful attractions on the evening of Wednesday (December 16, 2015). It is scheduled to get underway at 6 pm.

BIC’s National Day Festival is being organised for the third successive year, and it is being held with the support of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister.

The event is being sponsored by Bapco, Batelco, Algosaibi Travel, Hiyway Travel and Tours, Show Tech, Cebarco Bahrain, Creative Design, Nass, Mumtalakat, Bahrain Economic Development Board, The K Hotel, Arab Architects, SNIC, Almoayyed Air Conditioning, Sofitel, Focus Events, Gulf Shade, Bahrain Development Bank and NBB.

The four-day festival will open its doors to the public from 4pm to 10pm daily. There will be an entrance fee of only 500 fils. Visitors of all ages are welcome to BIC to take part in the celebrations for this year’s National Day.

Also as part of the festival’s programme will be a series of live performances by some of the biggest names in Arabic music.

Zayed Al Saleh will be performing on Monday (December 14), followed by famous Kuwaiti band Miami on Tuesday (December 15). A third concert featuring celebrated singer Balqees will be held on Wednesday (December 16), while the festival’s final day on Thursday (December 17) will include back-to-back concerts by rising star Nahwa and Saudi superstar Rabeh Sager.

Off of the stage, BIC’s National Day Festival will also include a wide variety of shopping stalls, most notable of which is a shopping bazaar featuring a wide range of products. All stalls of the bazaar have already been reserved.

In addition, there are activities and games for children and a carnival for adults. There will also be stalls of cafes and restaurants, while all those who attend can enjoy to enjoy a vast array of special happenings suitable for the whole family.
