The High Appeals Court has acquitted a woman of the charge of conducting business activities without the necessary license, expressing doubts about the validity of the evidence presented against her.

The court also overturned the fine previously imposed on her. According to details provided by attorney Abdulrahman Khalifa, the Public Prosecution had accused his client of engaging in commercial activities in 2024 without obtaining the required license from the relevant authorities.

Following these allegations, the case was referred to the Criminal Court, which ruled in favour of the prosecution and imposed a fine.

Displeased with the initial verdict, the defendant decided to appeal the decision.

During the appeal proceedings, the court carefully reviewed the case documents and the evidence presented.

Khalifa submitted a memorandum arguing for his client’s innocence regarding the charges.

After thorough consideration, the Appeals Court examined the facts, circumstances, and evidence surrounding the case.
