BKS to organise Bahrain Int’l Fest, Anandha Bazar

As part of Bahrain National Day Celebrations, the Bahrain Keraleeya Samajam (BKS) will organise Bahrain International Fest 2015, under the patronage of, Capital Governor Shaikh Hisham bin Abdulrahman Al Khalifa, on December 18.

It will have many cultural programmes to showcase the synergy among the Bahraini and international community, announced BKS President Varghese Karakkal, and General Secretary V.K.Pavithran, yesterday. 

Shaikh Hisham will be the chief guest of the event.  Guests of Honour will include Deputy Governor Hassan bin Abdulla Al Madani,  Nasser Al Qaseer  MP,  and  Nasser Al Arrayed. 

Prominent personalities from Bahrain Royal families, Ambassadors of different countries and other dignitaries will also attend the programme. said  Salah Abdulla Bouzid Al Dossary, the Capital Governorate Information Technology & follow-up director who was present in the press conference. 

Anandha Bazar tomorrow

As part of the Bahrain National Day celebrations, BKS Ladies Wing will organise Anandha Bazar tomorrow, starting at 2pm. 

There will be exhibition of homemade handicrafts, paintings, portraits, ornaments, garments, decorative items etc. There will also be a fashion show competition for children on the same day.  The organising committee headed by Usha Govindan will coordinate the programmes. 

Children who wish to participate in fashion show and those interested to run food stalls may register their names at the Samajam office at the earliest.
