Road Closures Announced for Shaikh Khalifa bin Salman Highway Expansion

The Ministry of Works, in coordination with the General Directorate of Traffic at the Ministry of Interior, has announced temporary lane closures on Sheikh Khalifa bin Salman Highway as part of the ongoing expansion project.
The closures will affect the section between Shaikh Zayed Road and Saar Bridge in the A'ali area. According to the ministry, one or two lanes will be closed in phases for northbound traffic heading towards Manama.
Additionally, traffic coming from Shaikh Zayed Road towards Shaikh Khalifa bin Salman Highway in the direction of Manama will be redirected via the external Salmabad Road.
The roadwork is scheduled to take place over the weekend, starting from Friday, January 31, at 1:00 AM, and will continue until Sunday, February 2, at 5:00 AM.
The ministry has urged all citizens and residents to adhere to traffic regulations to ensure public safety.
