HM King Hamad Arrives in Riyadh, Offers Condolences on Passing of Prince Mohammed bin Fahd

His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa arrived in Riyadh today, where he was warmly received at King Khalid International Airport by Prince Faisal bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Governor of the Riyadh Region, along with other senior officials.

During his visit, HM King Hamad extended his heartfelt condolences on the passing of His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Fahd bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.

Expressing his sympathies to the late Prince’s brothers and sons, the King conveyed his profound sorrow over the loss, emphasizing the deep-rooted ties between Bahrain and Saudi Arabia.

His Majesty entrusted them with delivering his sincere condolences to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, as well as to His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Saudi Arabia. He also offered his deepest sympathies to the esteemed Al Saud family, praying for Almighty God’s mercy upon the late Prince and strength for his loved ones during this time of grief.

HM King Hamad highlighted the late Prince Mohammed bin Fahd’s significant contributions to his nation and society, commending his dedication to Saudi Arabia’s progress and prosperity.

The King praised his unwavering service and commitment to the Kingdom’s development alongside his royal brothers.

In response, the late Prince’s family expressed their profound gratitude to HM King Hamad for his condolences and support. They acknowledged his sincere sentiments, which reflect the strong and historic fraternal bonds between Bahrain and Saudi Arabia. They also extended their prayers for HM King Hamad’s continued health and well-being.

Following his engagements in Riyadh, HM King Hamad returned safely to Bahrain. His visit to Saudi Arabia comes shortly after his official trip to Muscat on Tuesday, where he met with Sultan Haitham bin Tariq of Oman.
