Progress march to go on unabated: HRH PM
Prime Minister HRH Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa said that under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the Kingdom would carry on its development and modernisation march unabated.
“I feel extremely delighted when I meet you, happy when you are satisfied and pleased when you are comfortable,” HRH Premier remarked while addressing a number of intellectuals, press, cultural and religious figures and senior State officials at Gudaibiya Palace here yesterday.
Noting that serving the citizens and securing their needs top the government’s priorities, Prince Khalifa said: “Our country has gone through crucial phases during which the Bahraini people adopted remarkable stances, which are engraved in the national memory and then documented in books.” The citizens extended to him congratulations on the National and Accession Days.
HRH the Prime Minister stressed that national occasions provided an opportunity to celebrate national achievements and renew loyalty to the nation.
“We have to preserve our national cohesion and interaction, and discuss our issues among ourselves. We are capable of resolving our problems without the need for any interference from any other parties,” HRH Premier explained.
On regional issues, HRH Premier lauded the establishment of a 34-country Islamic Military Alliance to Combat Terrorism, led by Saudi Arabia, noting that the move re-affirms the pivotal role played by Saudi Arabia in fighting terrorism.
