Bahrain attends food safety talks

Her Excellency Dr. Jalila bint Al Sayed Jawad Hassan, Minister of Health, led Bahrain’s delegation to the ninth meeting of the Ministerial Committee for Food Safety of the GCC, organised by the GCC General Secretariat in Kuwait.
Dr. Jalila highlighted the importance of GCC cooperation in further developing food safety systems, exchanging expertise, and enhancing preventive and regulatory measures to ensure consumer protection.
The meeting discussed topics, including the Unified Food Law, and the GCC Guide for Control on Imported Foods.
