Pakistan School parents hosted

Bahrain Parents Society (BPS) held a special function to thank all the parents for their support and vote in Pakistan School Management Board elections. 

The dinner party was held on Jamiat al Islah premises in Muharraq on Tuesday. More than 200 parents were present at the occasion.

The function was arranged also to mark the National Day and HM the King’s Accession Day celebrations. 

The programme began with the recitation of the Holy Quran by Qari Asif and Naat Shareef by Raja Sadiq Shad. Head of Rafaqat Group and now the Pakistan School Board member Chaudhry Rafaqat, Ejaz Yousaf (board member) and Syed Jilani addressed the gathering.

Chaudhry Rafaqat said they would do all the good works required for the development of the school. He said that they would fully support the chairman and the vice chairman of Pakistan School in all their good endeavours and right actions but they would not compromise anything on the benefits of the students.

Thanking the parents, Rafaqat insisted them attend the upcoming programme on December 25 at Pakistan School. 

Pakistan School Board of Management elections were held on December 5 to elect a seven-member board committee. 

The parents of the school children with at least two years stay in Bahrain were eligible to cast their votes. 

Arif Aziz Group won five seats – Chairman Board Qari Sami Ur Rehman, Vice Chairman Shah Jahan, Arif Aziz, Ilyas Khan and Qaiser Mehmood. While Rafaqat group got two seats - Chaudhry Rafaqat Hussain and Ejaz Yousaf.  

Both the groups have unanimously elected Qari Sami as the Chairman.
