MPs wish for peaceful, prosperous nation

Members of Parliament have wished peace and prosperity to the Kingdom and its people on the auspicious occasion of National Day of Bahrain.

Speaking to DT News on this special occasion, Deputy Speaker Ali Al Aradi, MP and former Vice-Chairman Defence, National Security and Foreign Affairs Committee Jamal Buhassan and MP and Child and Woman Committee Head Roua Bader Al Haiki said that peace was the biggest need of Bahrain at this time.

They wished that all the demons of terrorism were wiped out from the face of the earth and especially from Bahrain once and for all times to come. They have extended their greetings and well wishes to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, Prime Minister HRH Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa and Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa and to the citizens and residents on the 44th National Day of Bahrain. Aradi said that he wished the people of Bahrain unity, peace and prosperity.

He hoped that Bahrain would overcome all the challenges ahead including the shortfall of oil prices as well as terrorism. He said that the people of Bahrain should pledge on the National Day that they would set aside all their differences and would move together in complete solidarity and cooperation with each other. National Day is the day that gives us more courage and strength to face the enemies and foil all their wicked plans against Bahrain and all the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries, says Buhassan. Roua said that they were looking forward to a tranquil and peaceful country.
