Fourth Al Basta Market to open tomorrow
The Southern Governorate will open the fourth Al Basta Market in Bahrain International Circuit (BIC) tomorrow, with the participation of the characters of the famous educational programme Open Sesame and Emirati and Bahraini local bands.
Director of Social Programmes and Community Affairs at the Southern Governorate Shaikha Muneera bint Mohammed Al Khalifa lauded the support of GCC Joint Programme Production of the Cooperation Council for the Arab Gulf States (GCCJPPI) at hosting Open Sesame’s characters and UAE Ministry in Bahrain for coordinating to host the characters of the famous children magazine Majid and cartoon series Freej.
She said that Albasta would feature new vendors, and added that palm corner would be supported by a national initiative to develop the agricultural sector and it would include vegetables and fruits planted in Bahrain.
