UNESCO opens nominations for 2025 UNESCO King Hamad Bin Isa Al Khalifa Prize for ICT in Education

The United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation (UNESCO) has announced the opening of nominations for the 2025 UNESCO King Hamad Bin Isa Al Khalifa Prize for the Use of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) in Education.
D r. Mo h a m m e d b i n Mubarak Juma, Minister of Education, noted that the theme of the 2025 edition is "Preparing learners and teachers for the ethical and responsible use of artificial intelligence." UNESCO has set March 28, 2025, as the deadline for nominations, which must be submitted through the National Commissions of UNESCO member states or non-governmental organisations in official partnership with UNESCO.
Two winners will be selected based on recommendations from an independent international jury.
