Bahrain's trade with Saudi Arabia reached 10.8 billion riyals in the third quarter of 2024, marking a significant milestone that keeps Saudi Arabia as Bahrain's top export market.

Petroleum and petrochemical products, food items, electrical appliances, and consumer goods are among the major exports flowing from Bahrain to Saudi Arabia. The trade figures point to a steady expansion of economic ties, shaped in part by Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030 initiative, which aims to rework its economy.

The flow of goods between both nations spans various sectors, including trade, industry, manufacturing, petrochemicals, and consumer goods. The growing volume of exports to Saudi Arabia taps into the demand across these sectors, while Saudi goods, worth 2.9 billion riyals, were imported by Bahrain during the same period.

This increase in trade highlights the deepening economic cooperation between the two countries, with the partnership evolving into one of the most established in the Gulf. The steady rise in trade and shared projects signals a push for even stronger economic links, aligned with long-term growth plans that benefit both economies.

Bahrain's 7.9 billion riyals in exports to Saudi Arabia further solidify the interdependence between the two nations, built on a foundation of trade that serves both markets.
