Bahrain Takes Part in Arab Parliament Forum

Council of Representatives Speaker Ahmed bin Salman Al Musallam participated in the 7th Arab Parliament Conference in Cairo, held in cooperation with the Arab Inter-Parliamentary Union.

The conference focused on supporting Palestinian resilience, rejecting displacement and annexation plans, and countering efforts to undermine the Palestinian cause.

The Speaker emphasized the efforts of the Kingdom of Bahrain, under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and with the support of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, and its commitment to peace.

He highlighted Bahrain’s ongoing dedication to peace as a strategic choice that consolidates peaceful coexistence and human fraternity.

Al Musallam reiterated Bahrain’s firm stance in supporting the Palestinian cause and the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people to establish an independent state with East Jerusalem as its capital, based on the two-state solution, international legitimacy resolutions, and the Arab Peace Initiative.

As Bahrain chairs the 33rd Arab Summit, he expressed support for holding an emergency Arab summit in Cairo to discuss recent regional developments and the Palestinian issue.
