The Royal Humanitarian Foundation (RHF) has officially launched its annual Ramadan campaign under the theme "Changing Their Lives," aimed at enhancing community contributions to its charitable projects throughout the holy month of Ramadan.
Ms. Mai Ahmed Al-Saai, Director of the Charitable Resources Development Department at RHF, emphasized that the campaign aligns with the foundation's strategy to engage the community in supporting humanitarian programs and fostering social solidarity and community partnership principles.
Al-Saai explained that this year's campaign seeks to improve the lives of eligible individuals through contributions from individuals and institutions. The support will focus on several key projects, including healthcare initiatives such as providing insulin pumps for children and funding cataract removal surgeries. Additionally, educational assistance will be offered through scholarships for RHF beneficiaries, while support for productive families will help them achieve financial independence and develop their businesses. Furthermore, 325 daily Iftar meals will be prepared throughout Ramadan, managed by 17 women from RHF beneficiaries and mothers, in collaboration with Netaj Khair Bahrain Center.
The foundation has invited the community to participate in the campaign and support these humanitarian projects, highlighting Ramadan as an opportunity to reinforce values of generosity and social cohesion. Several donation channels have been made available to facilitate contributions from individuals and institutions. Donations can be made in person at the RHF headquarters in Seef District, through the foundation’s website, or via electronic payment platforms such as Benefit Pay, Talabat, STC Pay, ila Bank, and SADAD, as well as through donation kiosks in shopping malls.
It is worth noting that last Ramadan, RHF launched the "Let’s Make Them Happy" campaign, which benefited 727 individuals. The initiative provided support to 73 beneficiaries in healthcare, 38 in educational scholarships, 29 kindergarten children, and 563 families who received general humanitarian aid. Additionally, 12 individuals received insulin pumps, and 12 others benefited from cochlear implant procedures.
