Bahrain Shivers as Temperatures Drop to 15°C, Strong Winds Recorded Across the Kingdom

Bahrain is experiencing an intense cold wave, with temperatures dropping to their lowest levels across various parts of the country. The coldest recorded temperature was 15°C at the Rashid Equestrian and Horse Racing Club, with a wind chill factor making it feel like 10°C. Similarly, Bahrain International Airport also recorded 15°C as the lowest temperature, though the perceived temperature dropped to a chilling 7°C.
Strong winds have also been recorded across the Kingdom, with the highest gusts reported as follows:
- King Fahd Causeway: 39 knots
- Bahrain International Airport: 37 knots
- Rashid Equestrian and Horse Racing Club: 36 knots
- University of Bahrain: 33 knots
- Durrat Al Bahrain: 32 knots
- Sitra: 32 knots
- A’ali: 29 knots
- Budaiya: 26 knots
Residents are advised to take precautions against the cold and strong winds, particularly in open areas and coastal regions. The weather authorities continue to monitor conditions and urge the public to stay updated with official forecasts.
