HH Shaikh Nasser Attends Royal Guard Graduation Ceremony

His Highness Lt. Gen. Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, National Security Advisor and Commander of the Royal Guard, attended the graduation ceremony of a new batch of recruits in the Royal Guard. The event, held at the Martyr Major Abdullah Rashid Al Nuaimi Parade Ground in Al Rawdah Camp, coincided with the 57th anniversary of the establishment of the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF).

His Highness Colonel Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Commander of the Royal Guard Special Force, was also present at the ceremony.

The event commenced with the playing of the Royal Guard's salute, followed by a review of the parade by HH Shaikh Nasser. The ceremony then featured a recitation from the Holy Quran, after which the graduates presented a practical demonstration, including a military march. A briefing was provided on the course's theoretical and practical training programs, military exercises, and field skills acquired during the training period.

In his address, HH Shaikh Nasser highlighted the continuous development of the Royal Guard, attributing this progress to the unwavering support of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces. He also acknowledged the diligent follow-up of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, and Prime Minister, as well as the strategic directives of Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Commander-in-Chief of the Bahrain Defence Force. 

HH Shaikh Nasser commended the dedication, determination, and commitment of the new graduates, emphasizing their readiness to undertake significant national duties in safeguarding the country. He also praised the military skills demonstrated by the graduates during the ceremony and lauded the comprehensive training programs that ensured high levels of efficiency and expertise.

Furthermore, he expressed appreciation for the trainers’ efforts in achieving an outstanding level of professionalism in the course. He urged the graduates to continue their dedication, uphold their responsibilities, and carry out their duties with perseverance, strength, and a sense of sacrifice in defense of the nation.

During the ceremony, HH Shaikh Nasser presented awards to the top-performing graduates. The event concluded with the graduates taking the official oath.The graduation ceremony was attended by Major General Hamad Khalifa Al Nuaimi, Deputy Commander of the Royal Guard, along with several officers, non-commissioned officers, Royal Guard personnel, and the families of the graduates.
