HM King Hamad Receives Credentials of Five New Ambassadors

His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa received the credentials of five newly appointed ambassadors to the Kingdom of Bahrain during a formal ceremony held at Al Sakhir Palace today.

The newly accredited ambassadors include:

  • Tatjana Garcevic, Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia.
  • Dr. Ayşe Hilal Sayan Koytak, Ambassador of the Republic of Türkiye.
  • Sumate Chulajata, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand.
  • Mohammad Rais Hasan Sarower, Ambassador of the People's Republic of Bangladesh.
  • Naif bin Bandar Al Sudairi, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

During the ceremony, HM King Hamad reaffirmed Bahrain’s commitment to fostering strong bilateral relations with the ambassadors' respective countries. He emphasized the continuous progress and cooperation across various sectors, highlighting Bahrain’s dedication to strengthening diplomatic ties and enhancing international collaboration for mutual benefit.

The King extended his best wishes to the newly appointed diplomats, expressing confidence in their ability to further develop ties between Bahrain and their nations.

The ambassadors, in turn, conveyed warm greetings and best wishes from their respective heads of state to HM the King. They commended the robust relations between their countries and Bahrain and expressed their commitment to reinforcing diplomatic and economic partnerships.

The credential ceremony was attended by several high-ranking officials, including:

  • His Highness Shaikh Abdullah bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Personal Representative of HM the King.
  • His Highness Lieutenant General Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, National Security Advisor, Secretary General of the Supreme Defence Council, and Commander of the Royal Guard.
  • Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Minister of the Royal Court.
  • Major General Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Fadhala, Chief of Royal Protocol.

Upon their arrival, the ambassadors were received by the Chief of Royal Protocol and accorded the customary formalities befitting such diplomatic occasions.
