Interior Minister lauds homage paid to ‘symbols of sacrifice’
Interior Minister Lieutenant General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa has lauded His Majesty the King’s kind initiative in declaring December 17 as a Commemoration Day in homage to those who sacrificed their lives while performing their national duty.
Delivering a speech on the occasion, the minister paid homage to the people who made the most wonderful sacrifice throughout Bahrain’s history by sacrificing their lives for the sake of the Kingdom’s dignity, sovereignty and Arabic identity.
He also praised the sacrifice of those people in defending the nation’s dignity and rights.
The minister underscored the great respect of Bahrain leadership and people to those people, reiterating pledge to provide constant care for their families. He also lauded the homage paid to the “symbols of sacrifice” by all Bahraini people as well as the media’s response to it which underlined social unity and commitment to the Bahraini inherent values.
