BDF Commander-in-Chief says the brave heroes will be cherished forever
BDF Commander-in-Chief Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, in a speech marking the Commemoration Day yesterday, stressed everybody’s respect to those who sacrificed their lives while performing their sacred national duty.
He said those people would be cherished throughout history as they set the most wonderful examples of sacrifice and self-denial.
The BDF Commander-in-Chief praised HM the King’s order to celebrate the Commemoration Day on December 17 of every year to coincide with the Accession Day in homage to those who sacrificed their lives in defending the nation.
He said those brave people would be cherished forever as they could inscribe their names with their blood in Bahrain’s history. “Their memory will remain a national beacon illuminating the paths of dignity,” he said, stressing that the heroism of those people was a boost to values of sacrifice for the sake of the nation and they deserved to be commemorated on a special national day.
The BDF Commander-in-Chief paid homage to the BDF personnel who spared no effort and sacrificed their life for the sake of their religion and nation.
