Alba Chairman joins ALU Family Day

Aluminium Bahrain BSC (Alba)’s Chairman of Board of Directors Shaikh Daij bin Salman bin Daij Al Khalifa joined the Family Day festival organised by Alba Labour Union (ALU) on the occasion of Bahrain National Day at Alba Club yesterday.

A much-awaited event, the Family Day Festival is organised every year in cooperation with the National Guard.

This year, a large number of employees and their families took part in the event, led by Chief Operations Officer Isa Al Ansari, Chief Financial Officer Ali Al Baqali, and Chief Marketing Officer Khalid Abdullatif.

The event comprised a lot of activities and entertainment for the entire family members, including games, face-painting, henna, pony-riding, and music, as well as a selection of traditional Bahraini food and sweets.

On this occasion, Alba’s Chairman Shaikh Daij said: “I extend my sincere congratulations to the leadership and the people of Bahrain for the great strides made by the Kingdom. The Alba Labour Union’s Family Day event is one of our ways to express gratitude to Alba’s workers for their hard work and outstanding contribution as well as their families for their continuous support. I wish the event complete success and hope that such events are happily celebrated year after year.”
