Drug Peddler Jailed for Five Years, Fined BD 3,000

A 30-year-old drug peddler has been sentenced to five years in prison and fined BD 3,000 for selling drugs in the Kingdom.
According to court records, the man was arrested after the Anti-Narcotics Directorate received a tip-off about his activities. An undercover agent contacted the suspect and successfully placed an order for BD 80 worth of drugs.
The suspect agreed to deliver the hashish at a designated meeting spot, where he was caught red-handed while handing over a black substance. Lab tests later confirmed it was hashish.
During questioning, the man admitted he was holding the drug for resale. On the day of the sting operation, he had arranged to sell BD 100 worth of hashish, which he had collected from a dead drop location.
