BD 1.7 Million Sewerage Network in Shahrakan Reaches 33% Completion

The sewerage network project in Block 1044, Shahrakan, has reached 33% completion, the Works Ministry has announced.
The project, valued at BD 1.7 million, aims to extend sewer services to 219 properties in the area. It involves the installation of 3,163 metres of main lines, 2,957 metres of branch lines, 364 inspection chambers, and a pumping station.
Fatima Jaafar, Director of Sanitary Engineering Planning and Projects at the Works Ministry, stated that the contract was awarded to Arad Construction for BD 1,686,000.
