A special pre-Ramadan dinner brought together a diverse and distinguished group of individuals from across the community in the Kingdom.

It was held at the Ramee Grand Hotel and Spa on the evening of February 26th.

The event facilitated a chance for the media practitioners and community leaders of diverse backgrounds to engage, share experience, and engage in substantive discussions regarding the importance of Ramadan in multicultural communities and societies.

Understanding

It also served as an excellent platform for building deeper connections and understanding among the attendees.

Notably present were members of influential women’s organizations such as Pinay Ikaw Na (PIN) and the Indian Ladies Association (ILA), both of which are highly reputed for their participative involvement in cultural exchange and community building and development.

The activity was carried out to mark the holy month of Ramadan, wherein an atmosphere of unity, self-reflection, and cross-cultural appreciation was achieved.

Traditional fare

Visitors savored a sumptuous spread of traditional fare that reflected the generosity and sharing ethic and compassion.

The menu that was painstakingly chosen was an introduction to different culinary heritage and highlighted the culture of shared experience and understanding.

In a world that sometimes seems so polarized, the pre-Ramadan dinner at the Ramee Grand Hotel was a refreshing reminder of the strength of intercommunity respect and cooperation.

Harmonious atmosphere

The event was able to create a positive and harmonious atmosphere for the fasting month ahead, highlighting the universal values of compassion, understanding, and unity that transcend cultures and communities.

It was a moving confirmation of the strength of solidarity and a gentle introduction to the religious path that Ramadan embodies.
