The Meteorological Directorate of the Ministry of Transportation and Telecommunications has issued a weather alert for Bahrain, forecasting unstable conditions from midweek. According to updated weather models, a low-pressure system is set to affect the country from Tuesday, March 4, bringing scattered rainfall at intervals until Sunday, March 9.
An official from the Meteorological Directorate stated that while the initial rainfall is expected to be scattered, the system may intensify as it progresses. From Thursday, March 6, the possibility of thunderstorms increases, accompanied by strong winds and high waves, posing potential hazards, especially for marine activities.
In light of the forecast, the Meteorological Directorate has urged residents to stay informed by following official weather updates. The public is advised to exercise caution, particularly in coastal areas and when engaging in outdoor activities.
Authorities emphasize the importance of staying updated with official reports and avoiding unnecessary risks, particularly during periods of severe weather. The Meteorological Directorate will continue to monitor the system closely and provide timely updates as conditions evolve.
