Shura Chairman meets Pakistani Ambassador; discusses strategic ties

Ali bin Saleh Al Saleh, Chairman of the Shura Council, met with Saqib Rauf, Ambassador of Pakistan to Bahrain, in the presence of Kareema Mohammed Al Abbasi, Secretary General of the Shura Council.
Al Saleh reaffirmed the deep-rooted historical ties between Bahrain and Pakistan, highlighting their shared commitment to strengthening cooperation across multiple sectors. He noted that the expanding partnership between both nations aligns with the vision of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and Pakistan’s President Asif Ali Zardari.
He also commended the continuous exchange of visits among leaders, officials, and parliamentary members, emphasizing the importance of legislative collaboration, knowledge sharing, and enhancing coordination at regional and international levels.
Ambassador Rauf, in turn, praised the enduring Bahrain-Pakistan relations, reaffirming both countries' dedication to furthering cooperation and advancing common developmental goals for the benefit of their people.
