HRH Crown Prince Salman hosts Ramadan Iftar banquet for senior BDF officers.
His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, and Prime Minister, today hosted a Ramadan iftar banquet for senior officers of the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF).
Upon arrival, His Royal Highness was received by His Excellency Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, the Commander-in-Chief of the BDF.
His Highness Lieutenant-General Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, National Security Advisor and Commander of the Royal Guard, Staff Colonel His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Royal Guard Special Force Commander, His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Isa bin Salman Educational Charitable Trust and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Labour Fund (Tamkeen), and His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, were in attendance.
HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister was also welcomed by His Excellency Lieutenant General Abdullah bin Hassan Al Nuaimi, the Minister of Defence Affairs; Lieutenant General Theyab bin Saqr Al-Nuaimi, the BDF Chief of Staff; and other senior BDF officers.
His Royal Highness affirmed the BDF’s ongoing progress in combat readiness and its contributions to the Kingdom’s development, attributing these achievements to the unwavering support of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces.
HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad expressed his pride in the BDF personnel's vital role in fulfilling their national duty to safeguard the Kingdom. HRH also acknowledged the many sacrifices made alongside the armed forces of allied countries, noting that these contributions will remain embedded in history.
On the occasion of the Holy Month of Ramadan, His Royal Highness exchanged best wishes with the BDF Commander-in-Chief and senior officers, expressing his hopes for continued security and prosperity for the Kingdom, the Arab world, and Islamic nations.
