Bahraini women inspiration for future generations: Qasim

Bahraini women have shown their ability and skill, becoming an essential part of national work and a source of encouragement for future generations, said Shura Council’s Women and Children Affairs Committee Chairperson Lina Qasim.
She congratulated Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, wife of His Majesty the King and President of the Supreme Council for Women, on the occasion.
Qasim said Bahrain, under His Majesty’s leadership, has made strides in meeting the aims set out in global themes for this event, taking real steps towards them.
These moves have been backed by national plans, strategies and schemes, with input from Parliament, the Cabinet and civil society groups.
She added that this progress builds momentum for greater ambitions and more work to ensure women’s advancement across all areas while keeping their social standing and role within the family in mind.
The legislative branch, she said, sees women as full partners in shaping the country’s future and remains committed to laying down the groundwork that supports this path.
