The spirit of Ramadan was brought to life at Alia Autism Centre as children, families, and dignitaries came together for a meaningful Gergaoon celebration, highlighting the importance of community support and awareness for autism.
The event was graced by German Ambassador H.E. Clemens Hach and his embassy team, who expressed their joy in sharing this special occasion with the children.
“It is truly a heartwarming moment to celebrate with these incredible kids and support the center’s mission,” Ambassador Hach said. Currently, the center provides care and intervention for 160 individuals, ranging from ages six to 45.
Khalid Alawadhi, Public Relations Officer at the center, emphasized the significance of community contributions, especially during the holy month. “We have a cafE that provides sweets during Ramadan, and people can support the center by reaching out through our official channels,” he said.
