The family of the late victim, who was tragically killed in the Shakhurah area around two weeks ago, has firmly denied rumors circulating on social media that the murder was due to a parking dispute. Instead, the family revealed that the victim had suffered multiple previous instances of harassment and attacks, all allegedly caused by the accused.

In a statement, the family expressed their gratitude to everyone who extended their condolences during this difficult time and thanked the Minister of Interior for his attention to the case. However, they emphasized that the murder was not an isolated incident or a result of a personal argument over parking spaces, as claimed. They described it as a tragic culmination of years of ongoing harassment and harm by the accused.

The family reassured the public that the case is being handled by the relevant authorities, who are responsible for uncovering the facts. They expressed confidence in the law enforcement agencies and their commitment to holding the perpetrators accountable in accordance with the law.

In an official update, the General Directorate of Criminal Investigations and Forensic Evidence reported that they had arrested a 47-year-old suspect in connection with the murder. The suspect was apprehended shortly after the authorities received a report of the incident at a parking lot in a residential building in the Shakhurah area, located in the Northern Governorate.

The Directorate confirmed that investigations were swiftly initiated, leading to the identification and capture of the suspect. They also assured the public that legal procedures have been followed, and the case has been referred to the Public Prosecution for further action.
