Bahrain’s Young Reciter Earns Top Honors in Saudi Arabia’s Quran Competition
The Kingdom of Bahrain has secured first place in the 29th edition of the Prince Sultan bin Salman Award for Quran Memorization for Children with Disabilities. Bahraini contestant Ibrahim Othman Al-Yafie was honored as the first-place winner for the second consecutive year.
The award ceremony took place recently at the Princess Sultana Al-Sudairi Mosque in Riyadh under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Sultan bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Chairman of the Board of the Disabled Children's Association.
This year’s competition saw the participation of 141 students, with 102 qualifying for the final rounds. A total of 17 contestants received distinguished awards, and the event also recognized contributors who played a role in the success of the competition.
