Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Hamad Highlights Successes of Bahraini Sports at Royal Artillery Ramadan Football Tournament

His Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa attended the closing ceremony of the 8th edition of the Royal Artillery Ramadan Football Tournament for officers, held at the Royal Artillery Ground. The event was also attended by prominent figures, including Major General Mohammed Abdullah Al Ahmad, Commander of the General Headquarters Camp, Major General Sheikh Khalifa bin Hassan Al Khalifa, Commander of the Royal Field Artillery, Major General Isa Mohammed Al Ramahi, Commander of the Royal Special Forces, and Rear Admiral Ahmed Mohammed Al Bin Ali, Commander of the Bahrain Royal Navy, along with several senior officers of the Bahrain Defense Force.
During the ceremony, His Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Hamad emphasized the advanced levels that Bahraini sports have achieved, highlighting the nation’s success in various competitions and tournaments. He underscored the importance of sports activities in promoting health, developing social skills, and instilling values such as cooperation and discipline. He also praised the Bahrain Defense Force for its support of sports activities and the excellent efforts of the Royal Artillery in organizing and hosting the tournament. The competition saw intense matches between the participating teams, showcasing the strong spirit of competition and teamwork.
Prince Mohammed crowned the General Headquarters Camp team as the champions of the 8th edition of the tournament, after their victory with a 5-4 win over the Bahrain Royal Navy team in the final match. He congratulated the winners for securing first place and extended his congratulations to everyone involved in the success of the tournament, wishing them continued success and prosperity.
Additionally, His Highness honored the players of both teams, as well as the best player of the tournament, the top scorer, the best goalkeeper, and the referees. On this occasion, a commemorative gift was presented to His Highness by the Commander of the Royal Artillery.
