Bahrain to Deliver 50,000 New Housing Units Under Royal Directives

Bahrain’s governorates at Sakhir Palace, in the presence of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister. The gathering underscored His Majesty’s commitment to engaging with the people of Bahrain during the holy month of Ramadan.

The event commenced with a recitation from the Holy Quran, followed by a speech delivered by His Majesty the King. Extending warm greetings on the occasion of the last ten days of Ramadan, His Majesty expressed wishes for divine blessings and prosperity for the Arab and Islamic nations.

During his address, His Majesty reflected on Bahrain’s numerous blessings, highlighting the nation’s security, stability, and unity as key pillars of its progress. He reiterated Bahrain’s unwavering dedication to prosperity, tolerance, and coexistence, reaffirming national pride in the Kingdom’s achievements.

His Majesty also celebrated the successful launch of the Bahraini satellite “Al Munther,” recognizing it as a milestone in the Kingdom’s scientific advancements and a testament to the capabilities of Bahraini youth. He encouraged continued investment in young talent and urged institutions to support innovation and technological progress.

Further emphasizing national development, His Majesty underscored the importance of sustaining progress in key sectors, particularly education and healthcare. He directed the acceleration of housing projects to deliver 50,000 new units and called for enhanced public services to meet citizens’ needs effectively.

Addressing Bahrain’s role in promoting regional and global stability, His Majesty reaffirmed the Kingdom’s commitment to conflict resolution, Arab unity, and the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people. He emphasized the need for a world built on understanding, cooperation, and peace.

Concluding his address, His Majesty prayed for national unity, divine acceptance of good deeds, and continued success in serving the Kingdom and its people.

Following His Majesty’s speech, General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Minister of Interior, delivered a statement expressing gratitude to His Majesty the King. He emphasized the deep commitment of the Bahraini people to the leadership and praised His Majesty’s governance, which fosters national unity and strengthens the bond between the leadership and citizens.

The event also featured a poem recited by poet Mohammed Hadi Al Halwaji. Additionally, Bahrain’s governors presented commemorative gifts to His Majesty as a token of appreciation.

Well-wishers had the honour of greeting His Majesty, extending their congratulations on Ramadan and the approaching final ten days of the holy month. They expressed their appreciation for His Majesty’s continued care for citizens and his commitment to their well-being.

Attendees also praised His Majesty’s directives, which have led to key developmental initiatives across Bahrain’s governorates, particularly in housing, education, and healthcare. They highlighted His Majesty’s steadfast dedication to maintaining close ties with the people of Bahrain, particularly during this sacred month, reinforcing the strong bond between the leadership and the nation’s citizens.
