Bahrain Reaffirms Commitment to Arab League on Its 80th Anniversary

The Chairman of the Shura Council, H.E. Ali bin Saleh Al-Saleh, expressed pride in Bahrain’s contributions to the Arab League under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the King of Bahrain and the current President of the Arab Summit, with the support of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister. He highlighted Bahrain’s role in fostering growth and development for Arab nations and their people.
On the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the Arab League, observed annually on March 22, H.E. Al-Saleh extended his heartfelt congratulations to H.E. Ahmed Aboul Gheit, Secretary-General of the Arab League. He expressed deep appreciation for the League’s historic contributions and its pivotal role in maintaining unity among Arab nations.
The Shura Council Chairman also commended the efforts of the Secretary-General in strengthening Arab solidarity, particularly in the face of current regional and international challenges. He praised the Arab League’s initiatives in defending critical Arab causes and reinforcing joint Arab action for the benefit of all Arab nations.
H.E. Al-Saleh reaffirmed Bahrain’s commitment to the Arab League since joining the organization, emphasizing its dedication to enhancing the status of Arab nations and supporting their progress. He extended his best wishes to H.E. Aboul Gheit for continued success in his mission, hoping that his efforts will yield prosperity and unity for the Arab world.
