Shura Council Chairman Applauds Government's Support for Youth Development

His Excellency Mr. Ali bin Saleh Al Saleh, Chairman of the Shura Council, affirmed that the achievements and innovations of Bahrain’s youth reflect the wise vision and ambitious strategy of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the King of Bahrain, to elevate Bahraini youth. The King's efforts aim to encourage them to contribute to the nation’s progress and developmental paths, showcasing successes that are widely recognized and building a promising generation capable of supporting the nation's renaissance.

In his statement, the Chairman expressed his deep pride and profound appreciation for the significant support His Majesty the King provides to youth development, enhancing their skills, and motivating them to excel on both national and international platforms. He emphasized that the Shura Council will continue to bolster legislation that supports the youth, reinforcing their roles and responsibilities in the nation's advancement.

On the occasion of Bahraini Youth Day, celebrated annually on March 25th, the Chairman commended the efforts of the esteemed government, under the leadership of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister. He highlighted the government’s strategic initiatives aimed at enhancing the abilities, energies, and skills of the youth, investing in their growth to achieve success and accomplishments in national development. These initiatives align with the vision of His Royal Highness the Crown Prince, who views investing in youth as investing in the nation’s future and sustainable progress. The Chairman noted that this vision is evident through training programs, continuous support for youth projects, and encouraging their participation in both national and international achievements.

The Chairman also reiterated the Shura Council's commitment to ongoing coordination and constructive cooperation with the government, headed by His Royal Highness the Crown Prince, reflecting a national sense of responsibility to enhance laws that empower youth and solidify their role in achieving developmental goals.

He lauded the distinguished efforts of His Highness Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the King’s Representative for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs and President of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, and His Highness Sheikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports and President of the General Sports Authority and the Bahrain Olympic Committee. The Chairman praised their dedication to developing and nurturing youth talents, motivating them to contribute and persevere, which has led to Bahrain’s leadership and excellence on both national and international levels. These efforts are a direct reflection of the King’s royal directives, which form the cornerstone of encouraging youth to achieve success and raise the nation's profile in regional and global arenas.

The Chairman also commended the continuous efforts of His Highness Sheikh Nasser and His Highness Sheikh Khalid in supporting youth affairs, encouraging creativity and innovation, and motivating young Bahrainis to shine in all fields. He praised their unwavering support for ambitious programs and initiatives aimed at discovering and fostering youth talents, thereby advancing Bahraini youth in every sector.
