Bahrain Enforces Strict Cleanliness Law with Fines Up to BD 300

Authorities in Bahrain have reinforced strict regulations under Law No. 10 of 2019 concerning public cleanliness, imposing fines of up to BD 300 for violations.
The law explicitly prohibits the following actions in public spaces:
Spitting or expelling any chewed substance
Littering, including cigarette butts and other waste
Relieving oneself in unauthorized areas
The legislation aims to enhance public hygiene and maintain a clean environment across the Kingdom. Officials have urged residents and visitors to adhere to the regulations, emphasizing that violations will result in financial penalties.
Authorities continue to monitor public spaces to ensure compliance and encourage responsible behavior.
