12,500 attend MCMA Mega Iftar gathering

Approximately 12,500 people attended the Mega Iftar gathering organized by the Manama Central Market Association (MCMA) in a spirit of unity and goodwill.

The event, held during the last ten days of Ramadan, was a celebration of the unity, compassion, and love that define this holy month. The MCMA was delighted with the success of the Mega Iftar.

The event was organized under the patronage of MP Ahmed Abdulwahed Qarata, the Second Deputy Speaker of the Council of Representatives.

The Mega Iftar was also attended by several distinguished figures, including Dr. Shaikh Mohammed bin Hamad Al Khalifa, MP Mohammed Hussein Janahi, BCCI Board Member Sawsan Abulhassan Mohammed, Member of the Capital Municipal Council Dr. Abdulhassan Hassan Al-Dairi, Head of the Manama Hindu Temple Shastri Vijayakumar Balakrishna Mukhya, LuLu Group Regional Director Juzer Rupawala, Shifa Al Jazeera Hospital & Medical Centers CEO Habib Rahman, Pravasi Commission Member Subair Kannur, ISB Hon. Chairman Adv. Binu Mannil Varughese, BKS President PV Radhakrishna Pillai, OICC Middle East Convener Raju Kallumpuram, ICF Bahrain President Abubakar Latifi, Samastha Bahrain President Syed Fakhruddin Koya Thangal, Mohammed Abdullah Sharbatali, Branch Manager Siddig Basheer, Al Bustani Group Managing Director Abdulreeda Abul Hassan Mohammed Ibrahim, MMSE Managing Director Ibrahim Meethal, KBR Group Managing Director Mohammed Mustafa, Malabar Gold & Diamonds Bahrain Regional Head Mohamed Rafeeq, and Hamasha Motors Services Company Founder and CEO Eng. Ihab Ibrahim Hamasha.

The event was a Reflection of the commitment to the expatriate community and the country’s rich cultural heritage. People from various walks of life attended the Mega Iftar.

MCMA President and Iftar Committee Chairman Dr. Salam Mampattumoola expressed the excitement of the association’s members about the success of the event.

“This Iftar gathering not only provided an opportunity for the community to come together but also highlighted the strength of our common values. The atmosphere of unity and generosity at this event, attended by 12,500 people, reflected the essence of Ramadan,” he said.
