Bahrain's Foreign Minister Honored by U.S. Command and General Staff College at Leavenworth

Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bahrain, was honored at the U.S. Command and General Staff College in Leavenworth, Kansas, where he was inducted into the institution’s Hall of Fame. The ceremony also recognized other distinguished alumni who have held high-ranking positions in their respective countries.
The event began with a speech by General Milford Beagle, Commandant of the Command and General Staff College, who expressed his appreciation for the honorees' exceptional service and contributions to the college’s work. He praised Minister Al Zayani’s distinguished career and his significant role in strengthening Bahrain’s international partnerships.
During the ceremony, Bahrain’s national anthem was played, and General Beagle presented Minister Al Zayani with a certificate of recognition for his induction into the college's Hall of Fame.
In his speech, Minister Al Zayani expressed his pride in being honored by the U.S. Command and General Staff College and joining its Hall of Fame. He described the recognition as a significant milestone in his career, reflecting the values and experiences that have shaped his professional journey.
The Minister also reaffirmed his commitment to living up to the trust placed in him by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, King of Bahrain. He noted that His Majesty was the first Bahraini officer to graduate from this esteemed college and was among the first group inducted into its Hall of Fame. Minister Al Zayani conveyed his gratitude for the support and guidance provided by His Majesty throughout his career in the military, security, and diplomatic fields.
